Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

  • RSA – SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol – If you want to work behind a bar or in any environment that serves alcohol you may need to attain RSA. You will be issued with a Statement of Attainment allowing you to work in licensed venues.
  • RSG – SITHGAM001 Provide Responsible Gambling Services - you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to provide responsible gambling services and to assist those customers who have issues with problem gambling.
  • Barista Training - SITHFAB005 (including unit SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety) – learn skills and knowledge required to extract and serve espresso coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders. It requires the ability to advise customers on coffee beverages, select and grind coffee beans, prepare and assess espresso coffee beverages and to use, maintain and clean espresso machines and grinders.
  • Hospitality Skills Bundle (2 day course) - RSA / RSG / Barista -  This short course is specifically designed for you to gain the 'must have' skills and knowledge needed to start working in the hospitality industry. 
  • Forklift Refresher Training – All forklift operators need to break bad habits to avoid accidents and injury. If you have a current forklift licence refresher training once a year is highly recommended.
