In Lota and the greater Brisbane area, EDB Training Services is the trusted provider for comprehensive, flexible, and affordable EWP training. Our programs are designed to ensure participants meet all legal requirements, operate safely, and gain the confidence they need to excel.

Here’s why EDB Training Services is the best choice for obtaining an EWP licence in Lota, Queensland.

Why an EWP Licence is Essential in Queensland

Operating an Elevated Work Platform requires specialised skills and training. In Queensland, the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 mandates that individuals operating certain types of EWPs, such as boom lifts exceeding 11 metres in height, must hold a High Risk Work Licence (WP Class). This requirement ensures that operators are competent, minimising the risk of workplace accidents.

Employers are also legally obligated to ensure their staff is adequately trained and certified. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in hefty fines, legal action, or serious safety incidents. Whether you are an individual looking to amplify your career by prioritising compliance to laws, obtaining an EWP licence through a trusted provider like EDB Training Services is critical.
