Forklift Licence Training Course
Forklift truck – LF (TLILIC0003)

The LF high risk work licence class allows you to use forklift trucks in Camp Hill but does not include order-picking forklift trucks (see below).

A forklift truck is a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage which has a pair of fork arms attached (that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground) or other load holding attachment.

Order-picking forklift truck – LO (TLILIC0004)

To operate an order-picking forklift truck you need an LO high risk work licence.

An order-picking forklift truck has the operator’s control as part of the load carriage/lifting media and lifts with it. Order-picking forklift trucks are generally referred to as “stock pickers”. They can be fitted with a platform extension for use in furniture warehouses, or can be a turret truck in narrow aisle warehouses.

Here we will  delve into the significance of obtaining a forklift ticket in Queensland and why EDB Training Services stands out as the best choice for forklift training in Camp Hill. In today's job market, having the right skills and certifications is essential to secure a rewarding career in various industries. In Queensland, one such skill that is in high demand is forklift operation. To legally operate a forklift in Queensland, individuals must obtain a forklift license, also known as a forklift ticket. This document serves as an authorisation to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, ensuring both the operator's safety and that of others in the workplace.

Why Do I Need a Forklift Ticket in Camp Hill

Legal Requirement: In Queensland, as in many other regions of Australia, operating a forklift without a valid license is illegal. The Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) mandates that all forklift operators must possess the necessary qualifications to ensure the safe operation of these heavy machines. Failing to comply with these regulations can result in hefty fines and legal consequences.

Safety: Forklifts are powerful and potentially dangerous machines. They can lift heavy loads, navigate tight spaces, and work in a variety of industrial environments. Without proper training and a forklift license, operators are at a higher risk of accidents and injuries, as well as endangering the safety of their colleagues and bystanders.

Job Opportunities: Obtaining a forklift license significantly increases your employability in Queensland's industrial sector. Many employers require their forklift operators to hold a valid license as it demonstrates competence and compliance with safety regulations. Having a forklift ticket on your resume can open doors to better-paying and more secure job opportunities.
